USE AND CARE

• Fully extend the appliance’s supply cord before each use.

• Do not use the appliance without its lters correctly in

place.

• Do not switch the appliance on without water.

• Do not use the appliance if the on/off button does not

work.

• Do not move the appliance while in use.

• Do not use the appliance if it is tipped up, and do not turn

it over.

• Do not turn the appliance over while it is in use or

connected to the mains.

• Respect the MAX level indicator.

• Disconnect the appliance from the mains when not in use

and before undertaking any cleaning task.

• Unplug the appliance from the mains before relling the

water tank.

• Store this appliance out of reach of children and/or

persons with physical, sensory or reduced mental or lack

of experience and knowledge.

• Do not store the appliance if it is still hot.

• Only use water with the appliance.

• Never leave the appliance connected and unattended if

it is not in use. This saves energy and prolongs the life of

the appliance.

• CAUTION: Do not use the appliance if the glass is

cracked or broken.

• CAUTION: Water condensation may appear on the

surfaces and objects around this appliance.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

BEFORE USE

• Make sure that all products’ packaging has been

removed.

• Please read carefully the «Safety advice and warnings»

section before rst use.

• Before using the product for the rst time, we recommend

running it just with water.

• Before using the product for the rst time, clean the parts

that will come into contact with coffee and water in the

manner described in the «Cleaning» section.

FILLING WITH WATER

• You must ll the water tank before turning on the

appliance.

• Open the lid.

• Fill the compartment with cold water.

• Fill the compartment with as many cups of water as cups

of coffee you would like to make.

• Close the lid.

FILLING WITH COFFEE

• Open the lid of the lter holder.

• Remove the lter holder.

• Fill the permanent lter with ground coffee (use 6-7 grams

for each cup to be made).

• Check that the permanent lter is correctly placed in the

lter holder.

• Reinstall the lter holder in the appliance.

• You can use the measuring spoon to add coffee.

USE

• Follow the procedures for «Filling with water» and «Filling

with coffee».

• Extend the supply cord completely before plugging it in.

• Place the jar on the heating plate.

• Connect the appliance to the mains.

• Turn the appliance on by using the on/off button.

• The pilot light comes on.

• The jar can be removed while the coffee is being made.

The anti-drip system prevents the coffee from spilling

when the jar is not in its position. However, if the jar is

kept out of its position for over 30 seconds before all

the water has passed through the lter, the lter may

overow.

• If you want to keep the coffee hot, place the jar on the

heating plate without switching off the coffee maker.
