USE

BEFORE THE FIRST USE

• Take the appliance and accessories out the box. Remove the stickers, protective foil or

plastic from the device.

• Place the device on a at stable surface and ensure a minimum of 10 cm. free space around

the device. This device is not suitable for installation in a cabinet or for outside use.

• Put the power cable into the socket. (Note: Make sure the voltage which is indicated on the

device matches the local voltage before connecting the device. Voltage 220V240V 50/60Hz)

• Clean the appliance a couple of times by lling it with water only. Please observe the

following instructions. Dispose of the water after use.

1. Open the water tank cover (1). Pour the desired amount of water into the bowl: level 1 for

1 glass (220-270ml), level 2 for two glasses (300-380ml) and level 3 for three glasses (400-

420ml).

2. Fill the lter with the desired amount of ground coee. (usually 1 level is 1 scoop scale

per cup).

3. Close the lter holder cover.

4. Place the cup with the device lid open. (You can use level 2 for Plastic Mug)

5. Press the Start-Stop button (2) to turn on the device. The red 'Heating' indicator light comes

on. Coee is brewed.

WARNING:

• The coee maker includes a permanent lter (3). You do not need to use a paper lter.

However, if you want to use paper lters, you can replace the permanent lter with a paper

lter.

• Leave the mug in place until the coee machine has nished.

• When the device is switched on, the door is hot! Be careful when opening the cover during

use. Hot steam can cause burns.

• When brewing, the coee machine automatically stops. If you want to stop the teapot early,

you will need to unplug it.

• If the indicator light turns on after plugging in the power plug, you will have to wait for the

light to go out. After that, you can use the device.

Attention: Please do not tilt the glass unnecessarily. The mug cover may leak, use it carefully.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

1. Switch o the appliance

2. Remove the plug from the wall socket, and if necessary allow the appliance to cool.

3. Remove the lter holder from the device, and clean it under running water.

4. Clean the carafe in hot washing-up water.

5. Clean the outside of the appliance with a damp cloth. Make sure no moisture gets into the

appliance.

WARNING:

• Never immerse the appliance, plug or power cord in water. Never put the appliance in a

dishwasher.

Only the loose parts may be immersed in water.

• Never use corrosive or scouring cleaning agents or sharp objects (such as knives or hard

brushes) to clean the appliance.

• The mug is not suitable for dishwashing machines.
